Sound-Recording is a Lancashire-based company that provides sound recording services throughout the north-west and the United Kingdom for all kinds of groups, including jazz, choral, classical groups; schools, colleges, students, youth orchestras and bands, composers, actors, and others besides.

Up to date digital recording and non-linear computer editing techniques are used to provide a high quality product. We also use a Jecklin disk where appropriate. Using the dimensions of the original from Dr Jecklin's design we have had a disk made by a local engineer which is a joy to use and set up.

Tim Churchill

Sound-Recording is run by Tim Churchill. Tim went to school at St. George’s, Harpenden and then studied at Hatfield Technical College. He trained as a sound engineer with the BBC and worked at Bush House.

Tim also worked as a Field Service Engineer on the early computers for the NCR Co. Ltd and is now married with three sons and a cat.
